End of Life Care with Compassion

Comfort Room

When that time comes, we want you and your pet to have a peaceful, private home away from home to say goodbye.

Our Comfort Room was designed with these last moments in mind—quiet, spacious, and welcoming, with two couches, a large dog/cat bed, and plenty of room for family members to gather together. We want you to feel unrushed and supported, with space to hold your pet close, share memories, and be present.

What to Expect During the Process

Every family and every pet is different, and we will move at a pace that feels right for you.

When you arrive, you’ll be welcomed into our Comfort Room and given time to get settled, be together, and say hello and goodbye in your own way. There is no rush. Our team will step back and give you privacy, checking in only when you’re ready.

When the time comes, we begin with a gentle sedation to help your pet relax and drift into a deep, peaceful sleep. This step ensures your pet is calm, comfortable, and free from anxiety or discomfort. Many pets simply fall asleep in their family’s arms.

Once you let us know you’re ready, the final medication is given. This step is quick, painless, and peaceful, allowing your pet to pass quietly and without suffering. You are welcome to stay with your pet for as long as you need afterward.

Our team will guide you through each step with compassion, explain what to expect, and remain available for any questions—before, during, and after the process.

Thoughtful touches for a gentle goodbye

To help bring a little comfort to a hard day, our comfort cart includes a variety of special treats—yes, even the typically off-limits chocolate—because sometimes those small moments of joy matter.

If you’d like a simple way to honor your pet, our memorial garden rocks are painted and ready for you to add your pet’s name, creating a lasting tribute you can visit when you’re ready.

Aftercare you can trust

We partner with Faithful Companion for compassionate care of your pet’s precious remains. We’ll guide you through the available options with clarity and kindness.

No matter which cremation option you choose (whether you receive ashes back or not), you will be mailed a beautiful clay pawprint keepsake—a tangible reminder of the love you shared with your beloved pet.

We’re here when you need us

We know it’s difficult to even think about these last moments. Please know that when the time comes, our team will be here to support you with empathy, privacy, and gentle guidance—every step of the way.
