Associate Veterinarian – Private, AAHA-Accredited Practice

Indian Trail Animal Hospital | Charlotte, NC Area

Built for Experienced Veterinarians in a Well-Run, Supportive Practice

Indian Trail Animal Hospital is a privately owned, AAHA-accredited small animal practice in a brand-new facility, known for exceptional doctor and staff longevity and a culture that supports strong medicine and professional autonomy.

This role is ideal for an experienced veterinarian who wants:

  • A well-run hospital
  • A predictable, efficient schedule
  • The ability to practice their style of medicine with the right level of support

High-performing associates do very well here. We intentionally tailor scheduling, staffing, and case flow so experienced doctors can be productive, efficient, and professionally fulfilled—without burnout.

This is a replacement position with an established caseload, allowing you to step into a full schedule quickly and meet (or exceed) financial goals.

A Full-Time Schedule That Respects Your Time

  • Average 3.5-day work week (9-hour days) – less than 180 work days a year!
  • Built-in 4–5 day weekends at least once per month
  • Additional PTO on top of schedule design
  • Minimal Saturdays (two 6-hour shifts approx. every 3 weeks)
  • No ER, no overnights, no on call
  • Optional surgery and dentistry based on your interests and strengths

We value efficiency, protected lunch breaks, and leaving on time whenever possible.
